Benefit Boi-ing Concealer Review!

I received the Benefit Boi-ing concealer in a swap recently, and OMG it's rapidly becoming HG status! It sells for $18 at Sephora, or Benefit and it covers everything, and I mean everything!! I got this in shade 002, I'm NC40 for reference. I don't have problematic skin but at my age I still break out around my monthly (Shaking fist at mother nature, LOL) and this covers up my blemishes nicely. it's so creamy and easy to blend. It also doesn't settle into lines, crease, or fade. This is my second Benefit product, and I'm really loving their line!

Look at the cute packaging!! Pink and Black my fave!!
(Love this^^!!)

Anyone else out there love this concealer as much as I do?? What do you think about it?? I'd love to know! Let me know in the comments!!

Urban Decay Naked Palette!!

I jumped on the Naked palette band wagon..LOL I'm so glad I did. Finally a palette that comes with different shades and no glitter bombs, kudos Urban Decay! I've only used a few colors this past weekend but I'm totally in LOVE! It is everything I wanted and needed in my eyeshadow collection right now! This palette comes with 12 shades that range from browns, nudes, golds, and grays, all my faves!! The textures are different either matte, satin, shimmer, or sparkle. Along with the 12 eye shadows you get a mini size UDPP and a double ended 24-7 eye pencil (Zero, Whiskey). If you keep missing out on this, don't worry it's a permanent item so don't go crazy looking for it and def don't over pay the price that it's worth!

Overall, I would most definitely recommend this palette to everyone and their mother! This is my 3rd Urban Decay palette that I own, but this one takes the cake! This palette looks so classy and beautiful, while the others seemed more playful and not for everyday use. This will not disappoint you!

 Check out these gorgeous photos:
Retails at $44.00

Love this: Beauty with an edge!

Do you guys think this is a hit or miss? Let me know what you think about this palette in the comments!

July favorites!!

It's that time again!! LOL

My favorites for the month of July:

1) Nyx eyeshadow palette in Lake Moss= LOVE! Perfect for night time smokey eyes, no fallout and blend beautifully! I haven't met a NYX product I don't love!

2) UD 24-7 eyeliner in Zero-My fave black eyeliner ever! HG status! I've had this over a year but I've been wearing it alot this month especially on days where I'm not wearing alot of makeup.

3) Mac Jazzed Lipstick- Beautiful Coral lippie, great for summer time! Also been wearing this everyday religiously! LOL

4) Mac Creme Cup Lipstick- I forgot I had this in my stash and I've also been wearing this alot this month, it's a creme sheen formula but such a nice nudey pink.

5) Revlon Pink Whisper Lipgloss- Love Revlon glosses! There really stepping up their game! Pink Whisper over Cremecup is GORG!

6) Mac 181 Buffer brush- I've been using this to apply my blushes and it applies it perfectly! It doesn't get enough recognition but I love it!!

7) VS lip liner- Perfect pink to define lips. It's creamy, long lasting and very affordable!

What are your favorites for the month? Let me know in the comments!

Wet N Wild Lipsticks review!! Finally I know!!!!!

I know all late, what can I say I'm a lazy mutha fucka these days LMAO! (pardon my french)!! It's just been so hott out here and humid, I've been going au naturale LOL, I haven't been wearing too much make up so it won't be sliding off my face but I know some of my fave readers out there have been asking for this review so here it goes!

I'm sure everyone has heard all the raving going on with these fab lippies! So my overall impression of these babies is def try them out! They are so creamy, easy to apply, very pigmented and last a good few hours on my pigmented poppers. At $2.99 a pop you really can't go wrong for such a great product, ahhh I love a good deal!! (Insert overly happy face here!!) I like to throw on a little gloss when wearing these because I love shiny lips, but you could wear them alone and they'll look fab! Just make sure to exfoliate and moisturize your lips as matte lipsticks can be drying and show lip lines and that's yucko honey!

Pros:

-Very affordable
-Good color selection
-Very pigmented
-Long lasting
-Not scented

Cons:

-2 of the 3 I own have come loose off the tube and are flimsy, no biggie
-Hard to find sometimes

So overall, not many cons at all, if you have a chance to try these lippies out def do so because they are well worth it. I believe you can find these at Rite Aide and there such a good alternative too when sometimes it's hard to shell out $14 for a Mac lippie! I am very impressed with these and the fact that drug store brands are really stepping up their game with quality! Do you own any of these lippies?? Love them or hate them?? Share in the comments!

Till next time!

Small Mac In The Groove Haul!!

Happy Hump day loves!!!! LOL
Over the weekend I finally made my way to a Mac counter after a little make up break. I wanted to see if anything tickled my fancy and also check out the latest 2 collections that came out. I only picked up 2 things from In The Groove..sigh. I wanted more but nothing else caught my eye. Not until recently when one of my favorite MUA'ers (you know who you are) told me about Stereo Rose and how gorgeous it is, did I want it, funny how these things happen lol. Just my luck it's sold out everywhere:( and I was on vacation when this collection came out so I missed out, oh well. I ended up getting:

Love to Love Mineralized Eyeshadow (It's sooo purdy!!)

Jazzed lipstick

I usually dislike Cremesheen lipsticks with a passion but Jazzed is LOVE!! 2 swipes on the ol pucker gets the job done, this is a must have ladies!!
I love the MES "Love to Love" this will be my go to for work since it's neutrals, so pretty, I love to love it..haha!

Anywho, this was a nice collection but nothing else stood out to me, surprisingly. But we all know Mac keeps coming out with so many different collections, it's getting hard to keep up with! Ahhhh!!! I'm happy with these 2 purchases overall. Did you pick up anything from this collection?? Let me know in the comments!!

Ta ta lovelies,

Work is really working me these days and I was on a much needed island vacation for a bit with no internet access and iphone internet ain't cuttin lol but now I'm back!! I know this is super late but here are my June favorites for the month. It's been so wickedly hot and humid here I haven't been wearing too much make up. If I do it's been simple, Satin Taupe and Carbon, line the eyes, eyebrows, and gloss. I missed out on the new Mac collections Alice and Olivia and In The Groove. Anyone pick up anything?? 6. L'oreal Lineur intense eyeliner=Favorite ALL time eyeliner

Great drugstore finds!

I'm sure everyone's heard about the new Wet N Wild (yes Wet N Wild lol) drugstore matte lipsticks! The cosmetic brand is really stepping up their game with these super affordable lipsticks at $2.99! Yes the lipsticks are matte, but you could always throw some lipgloss over it for a little shine. I'm very impressed and looking into getting more colors!

L-R Pink Suga, Bare it All, Just Peachy
Swatches in the same order as above^^^

Now the only problem I am finding with these lippies is that one of them feels loose in the tube, and it's dancing around and kind of smearing on the lid, grrr!! Anyone else have this problem or did I get a bad tube?? I'm gonna suck it up cuz these are dirt cheap LOL!!

I also heard some mixed things about the new NYC creme blush sticks so I purchased 2 to try them out! I bought a pink one, I think the name is Pink Sand??? And a plummy color (having a HUGE brain fart right now and can't remember for the life of me the names of these!) But at $3.99 I wanted to test these out for myself!

Swatches without flash

I will write a review on these in the upcoming weeks, because it's been so friggin humid and hot here, I haven't been wearing too much makeup these days. I have tested out the pink one and am liking it so far but need further use on it before I can give my honest opinion on it. Anyone else try these out? What color(s) do you own?? Let me know in the comments I'd love to hear!!

Till next time bellas!!

Review: Benefit High Beam

 Benefit High Beam..my thoughts

Hello dolls! Hope everyone had a fabulous week! In my May favorites I mentioned Benefit's High Beam which has become my new HG liquid highlighter. Miss K asked to see how I use it, so I thought I'd do a review and let you guys know what I think about it, so this post is for you girl and anyone else who hasn't discovered this baby!

Sephora describes it:
What it is:
A luminescent complexion enhancer

What it does:
High Beam is an ethereal pink liquid highlighter that creates a radiantly dewy complexion. For an angelic sheen, this pink shimmering lotion adds a soft, natural afterglow.
[source:www.sephora.com]

It's very easy to apply, I first put on my foundation and blush, bronzer then I take my high beam and dab 3 small dots on each cheek, 1 dot down the center of my nose, cupids bow, and chin. I then take a Mac 188 brush and blend it in swirling motions until it's well blended out.

Voila! Perfect dewy glow

What I love most about this highlighter is that it's not glittery, and doesn't bring out your pores or make you look greasy (I have oily skin).
I got my High Beam when Sephora had the bundle for $35 which included the High Beam, Hoola bronzer, Gilded pencil and Bad Gal Mascara, awesome steal if you ask me! Otherwise High Beam alone sells for a whopping $24 for 0.45oz! It's still cheaper than Mac but a little on the expensive side for the amount you get, but hopefully it will last me a while.
Some people don't like the nail polish look it has but I don't mind it, I think it's different, and I like different. I will def continue to purchase this baby, hopefully Sephora will have another bundle deal soon;)

Who else loves High Beam?? Let me know how you apply it and if you love or hate it in the comments!

Have a great weekend loves!

xoxo,
